25 Beginner Tips for Fallout 76
Fallout 76 is significantly different from other games in the series, so players will need to take advantage of these tips to succeed in the game.
While rewards are important, there are two main factors that tend to be prioritized when it comes to Expeditions: how quickly they can be completed and how many Stamps can be earned from doing so. With that in mind, we'll rank each one in order from worst to best. The reward pool for each Expedition is similar, minus a few specific plans that can only be obtained in The Pitt or in Atlantic City. Upon completing an Expedition, players will receive a decent amount of XP, a few legendary items, some Stamps, ammo, and the chance to get some extra Scrip, Treasury Notes, or Legendary Modules. Here's how they all measure up in this rather controversial sequel.
5 From Ashes To Fire
Time-Consuming And A Bit Slow
Since its release, this Expedition hasn't been very popular with the Fallout 76 community. While the first run-through is interesting, the mission quickly becomes rather repetitive. Out of all the Expeditions, From Ashes To Fire typically takes the longest to complete.
Aside from the amount of time it takes to complete this Expedition, there are two parts that most players don't like: Finding 5 tracking collars and saving the survivors from the rad storm. Finding the collars can be time-consuming as they can spawn in multiple places, while saving the survivors can be a real race against the clock if you're attempting to do it alone. While the area that this mission takes place in is quite large, it also feels fairly barren, making it considerably less engaging to traverse repeatedly. All in all, unless this Expedition is a requirement for a Daily Challenge, players will usually avoid doing it. There's so much to do in this grim world, after all.
4 Union Dues
Quite Fast And Straightforward
Union Dues is the better Expedition when it comes to The Pitt. Prior to the release of the Atlantic City update, it was by far the most popular option among them. The mission itself is fairly straightforward. Players need to kill Fanatics, pick up dead drops, or release prisoners, and then head back to Hex to help defend against an onslaught of Trogs.

Locations That Would Make Great Destinations for Future Fallout 76 Expeditions
After Fallout 76’s latest announcement for a new Expedition, the game should double down on exploring other parts of post-nuclear North America.
The optional bonuses are relatively easy to complete. Players need to collect five steel ingots and recover the Union Supplies. They spawn within a few specific locations. They are also highlighted on the map when the player is close enough to them, making this quite easy to achieve. Overall, this Expedition can be completed in around 10–20 minutes, depending on the experience of the player(s). This was the fastest expedition until the Atlantic City update went live.
3 Tax Evasion
An Exciting Expedition Reminiscent Of Fallout: New Vegas
The Expedition Tax Evasion came in with the Atlantic City update. It's a quest that takes players to the casino and nightclub district of Atlantic City. The first time players tackle it, they will be greeted by Billy Beltbuckles, who is in need of a little assistance.
There are a couple of different objectives that players can be tasked with completing, from assassination to tracking unfriendly surveillance devices, and none of them are particularly difficult or time-consuming. This Expedition, the mission where most players first encounter Lesser Devils and The Overgrown, feels rather like an extension of Fallout: New Vegas. Aside from its bugs, it has been a welcome addition to the game. Further, its introduction has marked the arrival of a plethora of cool new plans that players can purchase using Stamps. It's also possible to earn new plans by completing Expeditions once each week.
Similarly to Union Dues, it is a fairly quick Expedition that can be completed in as little as 10 minutes with a full team. It doesn't quite boast the fun factor or sheer speed that the remaining two missions do, however.
2 The Human Condition
Quick, Fun, And An Interesting Story
This expedition was introduced in the America's Playground update (the second part of two). In this update, players can now roam freely around Atlantic City. This is a fun new part of the game, as players can now explore this vast and intriguing locale without the pressure of having to complete an Expedition. A new one was added, however, in the shape of The Human Condition. This mission sees players head to a flooded city center where they encounter some intense firefights and, in some cases, literal fires that need to be extinguished.

Fallout 76 Vault Tier List
Between cut and upcoming content, Fallout 76 features several Vault-Tec Vaults, some of which have a lasting impact on the franchise’s lore.
As a result of its addition, as before, new plans can be purchased from Giuseppe in the Whitespring Refuge or earned once a week for completing an Expedition. This quest is a fun one that doesn't take long to complete, so it's a great and popular choice for those who are trying to amass as many stamps as possible.
1 The Most Sensational Game
Battle Against The Clock To Gain More Rewards
Taking the top spot is The Most Sensational Game. This is an Atlantic City Expedition with some added pressure. It sees players fight their way through the Atlantic City Boardwalk, Showman's Pier, and the Aquarium Of The Atlantic. Their goal is to take down their competitors and complete a few challenges that are given out at the start. Interestingly, this Expedition has an optional timer: If players can complete it in less than 15 minutes, they will receive better rewards at the end. Naturally, they'll want to do just that.
This is perhaps the most popular Expedition, due to how quickly it can be completed. It's possible to complete it in less than ten minutes, but the Escort A Volunteer mission can make it take rather longer if it happens to be assigned. Regardless, it's a varied and brilliantly silly little game that tasks you with an unpredictable set of objectives, from heaving rotten tatos at the villain of the piece to a sort of mini horde mode.
